ACDelco Canada has expanded its existing line of Advantage Ceramic Friction parts by adding over 18 sku’s. The expanded line means Advantage brakes now cover even more vehicles on the road.

Where required, each brake pad now also comes complete with an Original Equipment type abutment clip. Each clip is precision engineered for the specific application, reducing installation issues found with an aftermarket quality clip. The expanded line complements the already robust family of brake parts, including Original Equipment, DuraStop Professional and Advantage brake part lines and is available through authorized ACDelco Distributors.

“Our Advantage brake line is a terrific choice when a repair facility wants to provide a quality repair at an affordable price. As the line grows in popularity, we continue to listen to our customers and invest in the line, which is why we’ve elected to add abutment clips with the pads and ensure they are specifically engineered for that application. We’ve heard about the issues with other aftermarket quality clips and made the decision to add O.E. type clips to help the technician with their repair. All our parts are carefully engineered for both fit and finish to meet or exceed Original Equipment standards, and we are delivering with this new line expansion”, commented Corey Graham, national sales and marketing manager.

The ACDelco Advantage Friction line is a totally ceramic offering. All parts are chamfered, slotted and shimmed to provide similar fit, form and function as the O.E. service part. The line is also engineered with multiple ceramic formulations specific to the vehicle application.

Currently, independent service centres can purchase a range of ACDelco brake parts including rotors, ceramic and semi-metallic pads, shoes, drums, hardware, calipers, and more.
