OMVIC chief touring Ontario to meet with dealerships


The head of Ontario’s automotive regulating group is going on the road to meet industry players, share idea, and answer questions.

John Carmichael, CEO and registrar for the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) and a few of his key staffers are on a province-wide “engagement” tour.

Carmichael will answer questions from OMVIC registrants in 10 cities.

The tour, aimed primarily at vehicle dealers and sales staff, is in response to feedback from last year’s Information Sessions, which challenged the group to be more interactive and facilitate even greater discussion.

Registrants who attend will be entered into a draw to win a $175 gas card (one winner per session).

Events have already taken place in Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, and Sudbury. Seven stops are left in this year’s Engagement Series Schedule:
