OK Tire honours top dealers, partners

OK Tire celebrated industry achievements and community engagement at its 2025 Annual Conference, held over three days in Cancun, Mexico.

The conference brought together dealers, vendors and corporate leaders from across the country for strategy sessions, training workshops and a tradeshow highlighting the latest in automotive products and services.

Two new award categories were introduced this year — the Community Grassroots Partner of the Year and the Service Partner Award — among a full slate of dealer and partner recognitions.

“Our annual conference is a celebration of everything this proudly 100 per cent Canadian company stands for,” said Shane Butner, director of marketing and communications for OK Tire. “It is a chance to bring together all of our outstanding partners in the automotive space, as well as offers a chance to highlight some of the standout dealers in our network and reinforce OK Tire’s longstanding and deep-rooted commitment to community engagement.”

OK Tire also announced continued support for several community initiatives, including its partnership with the CFL and Blackhawk Tires on the Touchdowns for Communities program. Since launching in 2022, the initiative has raised more than $120,000 in support of youth football development through Canada’s provincial football associations and Canada Football.

The program features retired CFL linebacker Henoc Muamba and BC Lions offensive lineman Andrew Peirson, who travel to smaller communities to coach and mentor young athletes.

“OK Tire stores are deeply rooted in their local communities and it only seems fitting that this year we introduced the Community Grassroots category. We’re excited to recognize Blackhawk Tires, a vendor which aligns with our values and embodies this community spirit in supporting OK Tire with such programs,” Butner said.

The company also renewed its partnership with Hockey Canada, extending a four-year collaboration that supports the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund and new grassroots programs aimed at connecting minor hockey families with local OK Tire locations.
