Snap-on has announced two new lights for technicians. Both are cordless and articulating work lights with a built-in battery gauge, intelligent lighting control and variable brightness.

The new Snap-on ECARA052 and CTLAR761 have brightness levels that can reach 500 lumens and it is adjustable, allowing the battery life to be extended by adjusting the light’s brightness.

Both lights will run up to four hours at maximum brightness and up to eight hours at 40 per cent brightness. With a gauge available on both models, users can tell how much juice is left. An intelligent lighting system visibly warns technicians with less than 5 per cent of power is remaining.

Both lights also come with a pivoting bar and ergonomic design, plus a hook and magnetic attachments.
