Mitchell 1 has introduced a new QuickSpecs feature within its ProDemand repair information platform, designed to help technicians access key vehicle specifications more quickly and efficiently. The update improves the display of common specifications across both 1Search Plus and the Common Specs quick link menu, reducing time spent navigating large tables.
“When technicians need specification information, they need it immediately,” said Cami Hermann, marketing director at Mitchell 1. “QuickSpecs helps eliminate unnecessary scrolling so users can get directly to the information they need and keep repairs moving.”
QuickSpecs surfaces relevant data based on the technician’s search input, allowing users to find information such as wheel torque, engine oil pressure, and belt routing without unnecessary scrolling. For example, a search for “lug nut torque” returns only the applicable results, streamlining the workflow and improving repair speed.
The feature also introduces a redesigned Common Specs interface with an accordion-style layout that simplifies navigation and reduces visual clutter. This approach enables users to jump directly to specific data points and compare specifications more easily across applications.
