Lordco hires first CIO

Jeff Coolen has been hired by Lordco Auto Parts as its first chief information officer.

With 20 years of information technology background, Coolen was most recently director of technology with grocery store chain Save on Foods. According to a Lordco news release, he was instrumental in developing strategy and leading projects to embrace new trends, like e-commerce and inventory management systems.

At Lordco, Coolen will lead the company’s technology initiatives and work with executives, IT and operations teams.

“Jeff provides the conduit we have needed between IT and operations, allowing us to continue to grow and expand,” said Marlyn Coates, president of Lordco.
