Liqui Moly Is Again the Most Popular Oil Brand in Germany

Three polls, one result. Every year, three major German car magazines ask their readers which brand of oil is best. Just as in the past year, Liqui Moly was the winner. “A year ago we swore: Not to rest on our laurels; to use every day to prove that we have truly earned this accolade,” said Ernst Prost, Liqui Moly business manager.
“The quality of a motor oil is not limited to its technical values and OEM approvals; how it is perceived by car drivers is also a major factor,” continued Ernst Prost. “That is why we always await the results of the reader polls with great anticipation.”
Three of the leading car magazines asked their readers for their opinion. The magazine Auto Zeitung was the first. It asked its 620,000 readers to rate their personal top brands. In lubricants category, Liqui Moly took first place for the fourth year in a row. It was followed by Castrol, Mobil and Shell. In the car care product category, Liqui Moly came in second.
The next poll was performed by the magazine Auto Bild. Their 2.6 million readers were requested to decide which brands were best. In the lubricant category, Liqui Moly was victorious taking first place for the third year. Liqui Moly outpaced Castrol and Mobil. Here as well, Liqui Moly also took second place in the car care product category.
The magazine Auto Motor und Sport published the results of their reader poll. A total of 3.09 million readers we asked to name their best brand. The result for lubricants was also: Liqui Moly – for the fourth year in a row.
