LED Work Lamp

Truck-Lite’s LED work lamp is designed to operate in a 12V environment, but will function at full brightness from 8.5V – 16V, drawing only 1.2 amps compared to the incandescent 2.93 amp draw. The new LED product can support service lighting needs, yard tractor applications, tractor-trailers, forklifts, and agricultural lighting as well as airport ground support vehicles. The LED work lamp carries with it the features and benefits of all Truck-Lite LED technology, and a five-year warranty with a 100,000-hour lamp life.

Solstice Performance Exhaust

Solo Performance has announced the availability of its SQR1 Pontiac Solstice dual centre outlet exhaust system, which the company says increases gas mileage 12% to 13% on average and raises hp to more than 200 with a cold-air intake. The Solstice kit comes with a 2-1/2″ polished T409 Stainless Steel mandrel bent front exhaust pipe. Incorporated into this pipe are the oxygen sensor bung, flex pipe, and T304 polished stainless steel quantum muffler specifically designed for this application. The rear dual assembly is made out of 2-1/4″ polished T409 stainless steel. To allow for Solo’s rear centre dual outlets, a rear valance section comes with the kit and is painted to match a customer’s car.

Cargo Control

Valley’s restraint products prevent objects from shifting and sliding, protecting the truck bed and its cargo from dents and scratches. A new cargo net (#53490) fits mid- and full-size pickups and is constructed of elastic nylon that stretches to accommodate taller loads, and is fitted with 12 hard plastic hooks for attaching it conveniently to multiple tie-down locations. The all-steel Twist-n-Lock cargo bar (#53460) braces items in the truck bed. Also available is a six-piece assorted pack of bungee cords (#53480) that includes two 12-inch, two 24-inch and two 36-inch 8-mm cords in a handy poly storage bag.

Work Light

The WorkStar work light features a unique two-axis moveable light head that lets the technician direct the light exactly where he needs it. The user simply suspends the light by its hook or its magnets and turns the LED light head to direct the light where he wants it. The lighting tool also has two rare earth magnets that “float” to allow the light to snap on to uneven metal surfaces. Although small, these magnets have plenty of muscle, and one alone is more than enough to hold the light in place. The light can also be suspended from any work area components with its self-contained, retractable hook.

Extension Arm Kit

The Xtension Arm Kit (P/N 35752) allows body shop technicians to utilize existing shop X-Work Stands to paint bumper edges and fender angles, which cannot be done currently because of their extended length and curved surface areas. The XTension Arm Kit, with two easy mount steel clamps and 24″ steel extender arms, allows technicians to turn existing work benches into painting stands for bumpers and fenders as well as motorcycle tanks and fenders. Work Stands are easily converted by attaching the clamp to the bench and extender arm to the bumper and/or fender to stabilize the component, for easier painting access for the technician.
