Westin Announces New Hires

Truck and SUV accessories supplier Westin Automotive Products, Inc. has announced two recent new employees.
Debra Roper has also been hired to be the new marketing manager reporting to Bob West, vice-president sales and marketing. Roper has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and brings related industry experience to the position, including two years with Snugtop Fiberglass Mfg. and nine years with GPS pioneer Magellan Corporation. She has also held management positions in the consumer electronics, GPS vehicle tracking, telecom and the mortgage lending Industry sectors. In announcing her appointment, Bob West said, “We are fortunate to have someone with Debra’s considerable skill-sets and experience join our management team. I look forward to her helping enhance Westins’ leadership position in the industry.” Roper resides in Southern California.
Also, John Robinson has been hired as the new southeast regional sales manager. His southeast territory includes: Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. John has extensive experience in the Automotive Industry beginning in 1996 where he has worked for companies such as, Tech Tube, UWS and Precision Auto (Thomasville, Ga.) and most recently Loblolly Lumber Co.
“John is a tremendous addition to our sales team and will be a great asset to growing our business in the Southeastern region,” said West. “John brings not only his vast industry experience but also his passion for the Automotive Industry”. Robinson resides in Boston, Ga., with his wife and two children.
