Hosted by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), the 2006 AFS is scheduled for Sept. 26-27 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago, Ill. Cristello, senior vice president, is a senior equity research analyst for BB&T Capital Markets and is dedicated to covering the entire automotive aftermarket. He has spoken about the automotive aftermarket during appearances on CNBC and Bloomberg News. Current research coverage includes Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., Keystone Automotive, LKQ Corp., Advance Auto Parts Inc., AutoZone Inc., O’Reilly Automotive, Midas Inc. and Monro Muffler Brake Inc. The presentation will focus on the investment community’s view of the aftermarket, including how developing trends might impact different areas of the aftermarket (including such sectors as DIY, DIFM and collision repair) and how that might translate into potential investment opportunities.
