The first-ever electronic version of the popular “Aftermarket Factbook” has been released by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).
The “2004/2005 eFactbook” has the identical content to the printed “Factbook” and is available on a read-only CD-ROM. The “eFactbook” has been designed to provide enhanced access to the data from one’s computer, whether in the office or on the road.
“The ‘eFactbook’ is in response to member requests for more market research data in electronic format,” said AAIA president and CEO Kathleen Schmatz. “This is the first step toward fully interactive electronic products with export capabilities being planned for the near future.”
The “2004/2005 eFactbook” includes statistical tables, charts, analysis and trends in the U.S. and key international markets covering:
*Overall size of the aftermarket.
*Sales by channel of distribution.
*Size of aftermarket segments (heavy duty, PBE, tools & equipment, etc.).
*Sales of automotive accessories.
*Retail sales of automotive chemicals.
