Timken Canadian Distributors Get C$ Site

The Timken Company has announced the Canadian version of the Timken Store(SM) at
The announcement comes several months after the launch of the U.S. dollar Timken site. The addition of Canadian dollars capability to the U.S. English and U.S. dollars functionality provides the best possible service and efficiency for all authorized Canadian Timken distributors.
“The Timken Store at now allows Canadian distributors to conduct business with the U.S. in a very efficient manner, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” said Dan Muller, vice president – distribution management – The Timken Company. “We continue to respond to customer needs on a global scale through our E-business offerings,” said Scott G. Biltz, global manager – E-business integration. “Our new Canadian presence demonstrates our commitment to serve a diverse business landscape. We’re committed to providing leading-edge E-business tools for our distributor partners.”
In January 2001, The Timken Company announced the agreement to join INA Holding Schaeffler KG, Rockwell Automation and The SKF Group to create a premium brand alliance to provide Web-based services and integrated logistics for its industrial bearings and related products.
