2013 International BIG R Show Seminar
Gary McCoy, founder and president of Fairway Communications in Elgin, Ill., will offer his marketing communications and public relations expertise during the 2013 Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Associations’ (APRA) International BIG R Show at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 2-4, 2013.
An astounding 93% of business customers start the buying process by searching the web. As a result, spending on business-to-business (B-to-B) social media is expected to grow 21% annually. In his seminar, Profiting with Social Media, Gary will look at tools to reach business customers using social media, putting aside the contests and games that many social media seminars focus on. Instead, Gary will offer practical ideas on how to use social marketing to listen to your business customers, generate leads and build relationships.
Gary McCoy has over 25 years of marketing experience, with nearly 20 years of work in the vehicle (automotive and heavy duty) aftermarket. Having worked as a journalist in radio news and as a magazine and newsletter editor, he provides clients with hands-on expertise on how to successfully work with the media. A past president of the Automotive Communication Council (ACC), in 2009 McCoy received the prestigious Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Management Education Award. Since 2008 he has served as the managing editor of Springs magazine, a quarterly publication of the Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI). He is a regular contributor to Aftermarket Business World magazine and APRA’s Global Connection newspaper. In addition, he is the public relations director for The Marx Group.
The Profiting with Social Media seminar will take place on Monday, November 4th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, and is free to all BIG R Show attendees. You will want to be sure to include Gary’s seminar on your BIG R Show agenda!
