The International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) has added Myers Tire Supply and Falken Tire as sponsors.
“We are extremely pleased to have these two companies as participating sponsors in our 2010 event,” said Bob Simmons, ITEC executive director and founder of the show and a Crain vice president and group publisher.
Myers Tire Supply will organize and conduct a man-versus-the-clock truck tire changing competition. Show attendees will be able to choose from a variety of the most popular manual tire changing tools on the market. Each contestant will receive a gift for competing. The winner’s company or business will receive a prize at the end of each day in the three-day event.
“We’re proud to be a sponsor of this inaugural event,” said Larry Edgell, marketing manager, Myers Tire Supply. “We expect to see some highly motivated attendees based on the wide variety of seminar topics.”
Falken Tire will sponsor the upscale “white linen” Performance Tire Café located on the ITEC exhibit floor for those who would like more of a restaurant feel while eating their meals. This themed restaurant allows attendees to relax in a different atmosphere until they are ready to go back and enjoy the show.
“Attendees can enjoy custom prepared food served by our professional staff,” said Tony Minelli, director of food service for the I-X Center, host of ITEC 2010. “We have everything the attendees need right here under one roof. Each day of the show the menu will change and be served by our professional wait staff. Lunches range from $12 to $15 and cash bar.”
