New Technologies for Salvaging Cores at BIG R Show

Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) President Bill Gager announced today that a seminar on “New Technologies for Salvaging Cores That Will Increase Profits” will be presented on October 28, 2012 at the International BIG R Show.

The presenter will be Gary Reed, CEO of Lock-N-Stitch, Inc. in Turlock, California. Gary has over 40 years of experience in the casting repair business. He will present step-by-step procedures for metal stitching cracks in cast aluminum and cast iron parts. Several different repairs will be shown in video and slide show formats to help attendees understand how these products are used and worked. Gary’s company will also have a booth at the BIG R Show.

Gager stated, “Learn how you can benefit by salvaging more cores that will increase your profits with these unique methods. You’ll see some unbelievable repairs to castings recently completed by Lock-N-Stitch technicians.”

“This session on salvaging cores will drop more dollars to your bottom line,” concluded Gager. For complete details on APRA’s International BIG R Show, visit www.BigRShow.com or call 703-968-2772.
