More than 200 Companies Now Signed on for First-Ever Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week

Over 200 supplier companies have signed up to participate in the first-ever Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW), set for Monday, Jan. 23, though Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
According to W.T. Glasgow Inc., the HDAW show management company, contracts have been received for nearly 400 booth spaces at HDAW. “Excitement about this new show is continuing to build,” said Bill Glasgow Sr., president of W.T. Glasgow. “This event promises to be the premier venue of the heavy duty calendar for 2006 and beyond.”
In addition to the trade show. Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week will feature a full range of seminars on topics of interest to the various segments of the heavy duty aftermarket. Seminars include:
–The Aftermarket Economy: What Distributors Should Know
–Recruiting, Retention and Employee Development
–Getting Results: Five Absolutes for High Performance
–The Impact of Counterfeit Parts
–New Developments in the HD Brake Business
–The Truth about eBusiness and Electronic Ordering
–Shop Management and Adding Service to your Operation
–What Do the Fleets Want From a Distributor?
In addition to the regular sessions, education and safety organizations, such as TSEI, HDBMC, and Northwood University will exhibit and condust training for attendees. HDAW also will include 20 time slots for pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings between manufacturers and distributors and many networking opportunities for companies in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket.
