The MEMA Information Services Council (MIS Council), a peer group of the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), recently launched its new Web site at www.miscouncil.org. Information available for members has been significantly increased.
The new site includes a conference page that features information on the annual Spring and Fall conferences, including detailed agendas, speaker information, links to hotel Web sites and an online registration form. It also contains a brochure/member application form, which can be downloaded, information on the Council’s subcommittees, current press releases and information on the Council’s Board of Governors.
An entire section is dedicated to the MIS Council’s annual Aftermarket Web Challenge. The Challenge is the aftermarket industry’s leading competition that recognizes excellence in Web development and applications. The Web site provides information on the Challenge, competition guidelines and a participation application.
"The MIS Council continues to provide vital information and networking opportunities for IT managers in the automotive aftermarket," said Ed Wolff, vice president of Information Services for Dana Brake & Chassis and current MIS Council board chairman. "Our new Web site will make it that much easier to communicate among members, prepare for our strategic conferences, facilitate our industry standards development efforts and provide IT education."
