Imperial Oil has released its newest heavy-duty synthetic motor oil, Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40.
This oil is specifically designed to reach the farthest parts of an engine within the first minute of ignition, even in temperatures as low as minus 43 Celsius.
“Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40 is one of Imperial Oil’s most important achievements in the company’s long history of protecting heavy-duty engines,” said Jeff Diederichs, Imperial Oil’s marketing manager, lubricants and specialties. “It provides the optimum combination of productivity and protection, year-round. With the introduction of Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40, Imperial has a complete, bumper-to-bumper Mobil Delvac offer, from our heavy-duty engine oils to our superior drive-train oils.”
It also helps customers reduce emissions, and thereby preserve our environment. Here is how:
• Synthetic oils such as Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40 can be expected to last longer than conventional, mineral-based engine oils, thereby helping preserve non-renewable resources.
• Equipment running cleanly and at peak efficiency means fewer emissions;
• Faster, cold-morning start-up means less time idling and fewer emissions;
• Engine components that last longer require fewer replacements, reducing the energy that goes into manufacturing;
• An efficient engine reduces overall fuel consumption. Compared to leading 15W-40 engine oils, Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40 can improve Fuel Efficiency Index by 0.5%, so upgrading from a conventional 15W-40 to Mobil Delvac 1 ESP SAE 0W-40 could possibly see your business reduce fuel consumption by tens of thousands of litres of fuel annually.
Mobil Delvac products are available through Imperial’s national network of branded distributors.
