Imperial Meets Internet

Imperial Oil today announced the launch of eChannel, a comprehensive on-line ordering
system for commercial and industrial customers.
The system enables customers to order lubricants by logging onto a secure website.
eChannel is a web-based system that does not require new hardware or software upgrades.
Customers can now submit new orders, check the status of existing orders and view order history via the Internet.
“eChannel enables customers to order lubricants when it’s convenient for their business saving valuable time and resources,” said Scott Sutherland, Line of Business Advisor,
Branded Distributor and e-Business, Imperial Oil.
Imperial Oil Limited is one of Canada’s largest corporations and has been a leading member of the country’s petroleum industry for more than a century.
Imperial is the country’s largest producer of crude oil and a major producer of natural gas. It is also the largest refiner and marketer of petroleum products – sold
primarily under the Esso and Mobil brands – with a coast-to-coast supply network.
