Gasket Catalogue Contains Many of Additional Applications

The new Fel-Pro catalogue of gaskets features nearly 700 additional part numbers and scores of new automotive, severe duty, specialty vehicle, and alternate-fuel applications.

The new Fel-Pro Master Gasket Catalogue (No. 900-04) covers the brand’s industry-leading line of sealing solutions for passenger cars, light trucks, sport utility vehicles, vans and other applications. Among the catalogue’s 696 new part numbers are a broad range of Fel-Pro Head Installation Sets (HIS); a variety of premium head gaskets for severe duty light and medium truck and RV engines; a significant expansion of the brand’s PermaTorqueMLS multi-layer steel head gasket offering; and several new complete Head Sets (HS) for popular automotive applications.
New Fel-Pro PermaTorqueSD severe duty head gaskets feature an advanced solid-core design and thick stainless steel armors for increased radial strength and a more robust, detonation-resistant combustion seal. Each gasket also features the brand’s Printoseal sealing beads to enhance fluid sealing in strategic areas and a specialized coating that also enhances fluid sealing while maximizing the gasket’s anti-stick properties.
The new line of Fel-Pro HIS sets enable the professional technician to receive all the gaskets needed for installing remanufactured or fully assembled heads. (Engine builders can still specify complete Fel-Pro Head Sets listed with an HS prefix for repairs requiring valve stem seals, camshaft seals and related parts.) The HIS sets already are available for nearly 100 popular domestic and import applications, including passenger car, van/minivan, light truck and SUV engines.
With the expanded coverage highlighted in the new catalogue, the Fel-Pro PermaTorqueMLS product line now includes 87 head gaskets and 117 MLS-equipped Fel-Pro Head Sets covering a full range of popular late-model engines. The sealing solution for a growing number of late-model performance and standard automotive engines, PermaTorqueMLS gaskets feature multiple layers of full-hard stainless steel, precise and durable sealing beads and a proprietary coating that accommodates a wide range of surface finishes.
Other product-line expansions covered in the new catalogue are a variety of additional PermaDryPlus valve cover gaskets and oil pan sets, 24 new head bolt sets, two new water outlet and exhaust flange gasket assortments, and applications coverage for several specialty vehicle manufacturers and alternate-fuel vehicles.
