GAAS 2004 Gets High Marks From Attendees

On-site feedback and a preliminary look at evaluations from the ninth annual Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS), rates this week’s event in Chicago as the “best ever.”
More than 400 attendees heard from the who’s who of the aftermarket industry, with a total of 34 executives and professionals serving as presenters, panelists and moderators.
Topics ranged from financial analysts’ industry perspective and supply chain management best practices to Asian Pacific aftermarket opportunities, connecting with the female motorist and John Washbish’s 12-Step Program for Technophobes. The day and a half program was moderated by GAAS founder and chairman Mort Schwartz.
