Funkmaster Flex Headlines Toronto Car Show

Performance World Custom Car & Truck Show has announced that Funkmaster Flex will be the headlining personality of the event.
Funkmaster Flex is the host of Spike TV’s “Ride with Funkmaster Flex.” Every week, the show takes test drives with the celebrities, musicians and athletes, while he drives alongside professional racers and tours the most popular car shows.
The event for car enthusiasts rides into Toronto’s International Centre from March 10-12, 2006 with custom cars and trucks competing for $50,000 in cash and awards. The event boasts more than 600 top show cars and trucks and over 250 exhibitors, covering 350,000 square feet.
“Performance World is an exhibition where the cars are the stars,” says Brenda Brough, show manager. “With celebrities like Funkmaster Flex and hot custom cars like Posies’ “Aeroliner” and Jerry Kind’s “Shark A.T.T.A.K,” there is so much to see and do at the show,” she adds.
Catch Flex customizes cars and shows cutting edge parts from engines to audio systems. A true enthusiast, he founded Team Baurtwell, the highest profile custom-car club around with members like Shaquille O’Neil, and musicians Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and Faith Evans.
Performance World’s title sponsor is Concept on Wheels, while other sponsors include Castrol, Whetter Oaklin Insurance, Performance Auto & Sound Magazine, GM (General Motors of Canada), JL Audio, Kicker, Summit Ford, Meguiar’s, Rust Check, PRN (Performance Racing News) and Pizza Pizza. Performance World offers a view into the latest and hottest in the customization of cars and trucks.
