DENSO Looking For a Red October

DENSO Corporation today announced that its European headquarters, DENSO EUROPE B.V., will establish a branch office in Moscow, Russia in October.
“In response to the growing Russian automotive market, the new office will provide technical support for customers, develop a service system for products including diesel fuel injection pumps, and support distributors of aftermarket products such as spark plugs,” said Nobuaki Kato, DENSO EUROPE president. “The office will also conduct market research on the Russian market.”
The office will be DENSO’s first branch office in Russia.
DENSO Corporation, headquartered in Kariya, Aichi prefecture, Japan, is a global supplier of advanced technology, systems and components.
Worldwide, the company employs approximately 106,000 people in 32 countries and regions.
Consolidated global sales for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2006 totaled US$27.3 billion.
