Delphi Upgrades Software for Handheld Diagnostic Tools

Delphi Corp. has announced software updates for its DS Series of products, including the DS800 and DS600 models, that expands capabilities and information access.
The new software, version 4.5, include several enhancements to the diagnostic suite of tools. These enhancements include detailed wiring diagrams, a comprehensive list of vehicle control modules and interactive relay indexes, and more than 2.2 million vehicles added with vehicle-specific diagnostic information.
“This software upgrade provides major enhancements to our product features,” said Ben Johnson, product manager, Delphi Integrated Service Solutions. “Having access to detailed wiring diagrams and easy to understand module and relay indexes will help save technicians hours of time when diagnosing tough electrical faults.”
Other enhancements include the addition of Ignition System components to Delphi’s AutoIQ application. The AutoIQ application displays full-motion video with animated technical diagrams that assist service personnel when explaining service issues to consumers. New on-line educational courses have also been added to our Delphi Learning Management System including both Management and Technician courses.
