Composites can be designed to conduct 50 percent less vibration than steel and to be more impact resistant. * Wireless remote platform and advanced diagnostics — Delphi’s Product & Service Solutions will showcase the new DS800 patented solution that provides a wireless network for technicians and service personnel to remotely access diagnostic information, technical data and training at a vehicle on a just-in-time basis. The open architecture platform increases productivity by eliminating inefficiencies in locating technical information, training materials and system integration. * TruckSecure– a suite of technologies designed to help improve the security of U.S. commercial trucking fleets. TruckSecure is able to help identify and authorize drivers, track and guide vehicles and even shut down a vehicle if it is driven into a prohibited area (geo-fence) or off a pre- specified path (geo-corridor). * Heavy-duty Connection Systems — rugged, flexible and simple in design, Delphi’s heavy-duty connection systems are a high-current, low-cost, advanced technology available in a sealed design making them less susceptible to moisture than other composite connectors in the industry.
