CRP Industries, Inc., a major North American supplier of automotive products and longtime partner with Continental AG as exclusive distributor of ContiTech branded belts in North America, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth Edwards as general manager CRP Canada Inc.
“It is with great pleasure that CRP welcomes Ken Edwards as general manager for CRP’s activities within the Canadian market,” states Dan Schildge, COO.
Edwards graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Technologist degree in 1982 and immediately started with The Timken Company as a service engineer. He then moved on to FAG Bearings Ltd. (now Schaeffler Canada Inc.) in 1985 as a sales representative, progressing to regional manager, Industrial Division. He will be responsible for the overall management of CRP’s activities in the Canadian market including direct sales management of current accounts as well as all new account acquisition efforts. Edwards will be looking to extend CRP’s product offering into areas that have not been traditionally serviced by the company. Additionally, he will consult on product development for CRP’s Canadian market product portfolio.
“Ken brings more than 20 years of sales management experience having worked for a number of respected brands in the Canadian market,” commented Schildge, “And he will bring the same high level of professionalism and service to CRP’s customers and activities.”
Founded in 1954 as the North American partner of Continental AG, CRP is shipping from distribution centres in New Jersey, California, Canada, and Mexico. The company’s extensive product lines span three market segments: automotive replacement parts, high-speed motors and industrial hoses.
