Chassis Parts Line Honoured for Packaging


Spicer Professional Grade Chassis parts have received a packaging award.
Dana Corporation announces that Spicer Professional Grade Chassis received first place honours from the Association of Independent Corrugated Converters (AICC) at the 11th International Corrugated Packaging Design Competition recently held in San Francisco, according to Tim Bell, packaging manager.
Spicer Chassis won in the category for Best Application of Preprinted Linerboard. In this category, judges considered all aspects of manufacturing quality including corrugation, warp, print-to-cut registration and print quality. Structural and graphic design was also considered when evaluating how Spicer Professional Grade Chassis was successful in meeting the needs of their customers.
There were a total of 175 entries from 47 different companies. Awards were announced in each of 17 categories for first, second, third place and independents’ choice.
