Canadian Executive Joins Wiper Maker

Chairman and chief executive officer Richard Snell has announced the appointment of David F. Peace as President of Qualitor’s Pylon Wiper Division.
Peace, who originally hails from Canada, joins Pylon from Jordan Industries where he served as CEO of Jordan Automotive Aftermarket, Inc. since 2002. Prior to Jordan, Peace served as vice-president and general manager of three business groups at Visteon from 1997 to 2002, including Visteon’s Global Aftermarket Operations. Before Visteon, Peace spent twenty years at Tenneco Automotive, holding a number of positions including vice president of sales and marketing of the company’s North American Aftermarket business.
“Dave’s deep knowledge and experience in the automotive aftermarket will be a major addition to Pylon’s growing wiper blade business,” Snell said. “His experience and drive will be particularly helpful with the development of Pylon’s new premium Michelin wiper blade.”
Qualitor is a leading manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket parts for the automotive and medium to heavy-duty truck industries, including Anstro and IBI brake parts, Sloan heavy duty air and electrical parts, BLD engine controls and Michelin, Pylon, Lexor and PowerBlade wiper blades.
