Canadian Cars Figure Prominently in Calendar

Snap-on’s annual car calendar features a record number of Canadian-owned vehicles.
Of 84 vehicles featured in the 2002 Snapshots calendar, 11 are owned by Canadian Snap-on customers. This is the highest number of Canadian vehicles chosen to be featured in Snapshots since the calendar was introduced in 1995. The 2001 edition featured nine Canadian vehicles. Customers entries are judged for the condition, quality and presentation of the vehicle in photographs submitted.
The Canadian Snapshots competition winners featured in the 2002 calendar are:
January 1969 Chevy Camaro Alain Marineau, Quebec; 1932 Plymouth 3-Window Coupe Wayne Harrison, Ontario; 1931 Chevy 5-Window Coupe Harold Wheeler, B.C.
March 1928 Ford Model A William Swatko, Ontario; 1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE Bernie David, Ontario
May 1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible Ron Knight, Ontario; 1934 Ford
5-Window Coupe Ken Hemstalk, B.C.
August 1971 Dodge Charger R/T 440+6 Kori Alexander, Alberta
September 1960 Pontiac Parisienne (Canadian Model) Norm Flewelling, Ontario
October 1967 Pontiac Beaumont Deluxe Convertible Helmut Przontka, Ontario
December 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Brian Onofriechuk, Manitoba

Other featured vehicles for 2002 are owned by customers in the U.S., New Zealand and Australia.
Snapshots classic car collectible calendars replaced the Snap-on model calendars in 1995 when Snap-on changed its focus, recognizing customers in an annual car calendar instead of producing the once-popular, but outdated, model calendar.
