Business Trainer Adds Technical Development Division, Names Manager

Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre Ltd., president & CEO, Bob Greenwood, has announced that Robert (Rob) Ward, AMT, has joined the AAEC team as the business manager of technical development. This is a new division within AAEC.

Ward has been in the automotive industry since 1993 and holds an Inter-provincial Red Seal, an ASE Certification and a CFC Certification. He specializes in automotive diagnostics and software packages. He is an advanced diagnostics specialist that has been trained in OEM and aftermarket software and scanners in Canada and the United States. He has acquired service management experience at the Independent level as well as from larger national companies. T

he combination of Technician and Service Managers role has taught the finesse required to communicate with staff at all levels of the operation.

Ward is based out of Halifax but will be working with the AAEC BEST clients across Canada and their technicians. He will be conducting on-site visits and boardroom format meetings ensuring the technical staff understands the detailed business processes required in the bays for full and accountable vehicle inspection in a timely manner, accurate diagnostics, expanding technician soft skills development, and maximizing individual productivity coupled with ensuring ultimate client satisfaction.
