Qualitee International has been acquired by AutoPartSource, a subsidiary of Roscigno Industries Inc. of Iselin, New Jersey.
Roscigno is a holding company led by Frank Pagano, CEO of Coni-Seal, Lakewood, NJ.
The new company, AutoPartSource, will remain headquartered in Richmond, VA and continue as a stand alone company, focused on the distribution of quality brake and clutch products to the undercar segment of the aftermarket. AutoPartSource will continue to sell and promote the Qualitee brand name and products, including VGX Brake Pads, Complete Clutch Kits, as well as private label brands and related products.
Frank Pagano, serving as president of the new company, retained most of the Qualitee’s executive team, including Chris Kern who takes over as general manager while continuing in his role as director of marketing.
Frank Pagano commented: "With the support of Coni-Seal management, AutoPartSource will enhance its product offerings through world-wide sourcing capabilities. In addition, this transaction will allow us to broaden our customer horizons while continuing to provide outstanding customer satisfaction. With our experienced management and sales force, we are committed to becoming the best under-car parts supplier in the industry. We look forward to a prosperous future as well as deepening our relationships with our valued customers."
Roscigno also established a sister company, New World Friction, which acquired the assets of Novatek Manufacturing. New World Friction will continue to supply brake pads to the automotive market as well as the complete line of VGX Brake Pads to AutoPartSource.
