Automotive Business E-Learning Site Moves into Quebec Market

The Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre Ltd. (AAEC) has announced the signing of an agreement that will see the education program expanded into Quebec.
Robert Greenwood, president and CEO of Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre Ltd. announced today that a 10-year agreement had been reached with AUTO4S Inc. to take the AAEC E-Learning Centre to the Province of Quebec.
“AUTO4S is an excellent fit for AAEC, as they have in-depth independent sector knowledge, skill, and relationships, throughout the Province of Quebec,” says Greenwood. “We are very excited about this arrangement as now all Independent shops across Canada will have the availability, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to learn the right management tools to drive shop profitability and growth.”
AUTO4S will be responsible for taking the current AAEC web site and converting all present, and future, E-Learning Management material into French, and marketing the site throughout the Province of Quebec.
Mr. Graham Smith, the AAEC web site manager, stated “working with this team throughout our negotiations has been a pleasure. AUTO4S are very skilled in their technological abilities and understanding that is required to maintain the high standards for the site that we have set. Our IT team is looking forward to working with them.”
AUTO4S and AAEC will have the current site translated and on-line by October 1, 2002. When one registers onto the site, they will choose whether they want the English or the French version.
Auto4S is a training company for the aftermarket based in Montreal.
“our growth strategy is focused on both traditional training program and e-learning training content. Mr. Greenwood’s reputation in the industry and the way he made on-line training accessible to the aftermarket made it a natural choice for us,” says Alain Chagnon, who initiated the e-commerce strategy for Auto4S.
“Having AAEC on-board puts us one year ahead of our agenda,” says Franois Bazin, Auto4S training centre director. “We are really looking forward to launching the French version. We are very proud to partner with AAEC on a long-term agreement.”
