ASC Industries Passes ISO/TS 16949 Certification Audit

ASC Industries announced today that the company has passed their recent quality audit in accordance with the company’s ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality rating.
ASC received its certification to ISO/TS 16949 in 2003, certification to QS 9000 in 2000 and certification to ISO 9002 in 1999. The bi-annual audit was completed as a requirement of certification to maintain quality standards.
ISO/TS 16949 was jointly developed by the International Automotive Task Force, (IATF) and approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for publication. This document, coupled with OEM customer-specific requirements, defines quality system requirements for use in the automotive supply chain.
"ASC has long been committed to quality systems and quality improvements. The passage of our recent audit solidifies that fact," said James Carlin, ISO/TS 16949 Coordinator for ASC Industries, Inc. "ASC’s dedication to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction allowed for the recent approval of the surveillance audit.”
ASC Industries is a leading manufacturer of new water pumps for automotive applications, including industrial, light & heavy duty vehicles. What makes ASC so successful is their commitment to teamwork, integrity and excellence in quality products and customer satisfaction, known as the "Renaissance in Automotive."
