ProMax Auto Parts has announced the appointment of industry veteran Ernie Fields as its Ontario sales manager. Fields had served as sales manager for the Replacement Parts Depot Limited for many years. Fields can be reached at 905-612-9889, or e-mail ernie@ autopartsdepot.ca.

Mister Transmission (International) Limited has appointed Randall A. Moore as president and chief executive officer. Moore is a long-time employee of the 45-year-old Canadian company, where he has served as vice-president of operations since 1990. Moore joined Mister Transmission in 1977 as a store manager and quickly became area supervisor and then director of operations. He was promoted to vice-president of operations in 1990. In addition to his work experience, Moore has been an active member of the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA) since 1993. He served as chairman of the board in 2000- 2001 and is currently chairman of the Retailers Council. He was the recipient of the AIA Distinguished Service Award for 2005-2006.
