Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inks…

Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inks European Membership

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, which does business under the Auto Value and Bumper-to-Bumper banners, has announced that multi-billion-dollar distribution network TEMOT International has become a member.
TEMOT International (TI), which has 19 warehouse distributor shareholder in 18 countries throughout Europe, had more than $2.1 billion U.S. in sales in 2001. Frans Van Heck, CEO, said that the membership in the group made sense because the existing membership closely paralleled that of TEMOT. "Its shareholders, equal to most TI shareholders, are privately owned companies, meaning the ways for decision are short and efficient."
"This partnership truly makes us a global organization with future opportunities being endless," says Richard Morgan, president and CEO of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.
The arrangement gives the group more than $5.7 billion U.S. in annual sales.
