Hofman Megaplan unveils new tire changer

Hofmann Megaplan announced its new megamount Twister Evo, which it says is what the trade has asked for.

The Twister Evo (part no. HOFHM-TWEVO) has an automatic column that ‘twists’ to the side rather than tilting back. It’s a design used on famous models in the past and Hofman Megaplan says it has the most strength – twice as powerful as traditional air-operated versions.

It features a multi-speed turntable with pedal control, a patented “spider assist 2” assist arm configuration for independent work of the bead press and roller tools and more. Minimum wheel diameter is 10 inches, while maximum is 26 inches. Maximum tire diameter is 39 inches and max wheel depth is 18 inches.

Feedback made the design of the new tire changer possible. The Twister has increased reliability based on and resolves issues around bead breaking and can handle low-profile/alloy wheel combinations and run-flat tires.
