ProMaxx Tool has introduced the world’s first air hammer-powered fuel injector puller, the NEW 900 Series. This tool quickly removes fuel injectors, even in hard-to-reach positions, reducing downtime and boosting technician productivity.
The 900 Series is available for Ford 6.7L Power Stroke, multiple versions for the GM 6.6L Duramax, and the Dodge/Fiat 3.0L EcoDiesel, with a Nissan Titan/Cummins version coming soon.
The kits feature new inline fuel injector adapters and the AirStrike Bi-Directional Air Hammer, which combines 3,000 BPM with harmonic vibration to detach the bond between unlike material surfaces in as fast as 15 seconds without causing damage. For injectors located under the cowling, the 22-inch Shockit articulated punch can be used to remove these hard-to-reach injectors.
In addition to the 900 Series, customers can complement their kits with the new 200 Series Air Hammer-Assisted Injector Lift Kits, which cover the same engines as the 900 Series. This new tool eliminates the need to pull a cab and remove the cylinder head, making repairs faster and getting trucks back to work efficiently.
