High-Temperature Spark Plug Boots

ETCO’s new 115-degree AB19 spark plug boots meet ISO/TS 16949:2002 quality standards for Ford V6 and V8 engines from 1992 through the current year. The ETCO AB19 Spark Plug Boot is a high density, high temperature silicone moulded boot for traditional coil and ignition wire systems. Featuring a 115-degree design, this high performance boot is available in three material heat ranges: silicone 450F, grey 500F, and pink/salmon 550F. Coated Pistons

Sealed Power and Speed-Pro Thermoshield-coated pistons are offered in hypereutectic and Power-forged designs for a variety of popular standard replacement and performance applications. The pistons’ advanced crown coating is produced through an immersion process using electrical impulses that convert the piston surface into an extremely strong, smooth and heat resistant complex ceramic. Because the barrier is atomically bonded to the piston substrate, the material is highly resistant to flaking and cracking and provides exceptional protection of even sharp corners. The coating is also well suited as a top ring groove coating for the prevention of micro-welding, and selected Sealed Power and Speed-Pro pistons now include this added feature.

Diesel Turbo Upgrade

BorgWarner Turbo Systems (BWTS) AirWerks Chevy Duramax S300G upgrade Super Max Turbo is a collaborative effort between BorgWarner Turbo Systems and BD-Power, under the BWTS AirWerks program. The Super Max is a performance upgrade turbo that utilizes extended tip compressor wheel technology and full-floating hydrodynamic journal bearings. Both features allow for superior compressor airflow and field serviceability. This new system includes a new exhaust down pipe, oil drain tube, hoses and gaskets and is engineered to provide customers with plenty of benefits such as increased torque and horsepower. Owners can expect to see gains up to 300 rear wheel horsepower, which means up to 550 total horsepower with this new turbo system upgrade.

Moulding Removal Tool

Steck’s E-Z Strip Moulding Tool II (P/N 21542) removes adhesive backed body side moulding without scratching painted surfaces. The improved version of the E-Z Strip Moulding Tool has a 3″ non-marring blade and uses a steel air hammer arbor to remove body side mouldings. A durable non-marring wedge design made of polypropylene removes mouldings without damaging the moulding or scratching painted surfaces. The kit also includes an additional wedge (PN 21543). Wedges can be trimmed to remove mouldings imbedded in body lines.

Bosch has launched eCat Advantage, a new electronic product catalogue, designed to provide the most current and comprehensive coverage of product and product-related information. The new electronic catalogue includes the equivalent of all current Bosch catalogues for the aftermarket. The eCat also provides technical bulletins, buyer’s guide information, interchange and cross reference information and images wherever available. The data can be loaded on to a PC from a CD, and once installed, an eCat Advantage icon appears on the desktop, allowing any individual to access data quickly and easily at any convenient time, without needing to go online for the data. Updates will be posted by Bosch every 30 days, at which time users, at their discretion, can download the data via an Internet hookup.

Bed Covers for F-150 Super Crew

Agri-Cover, Inc has announced a line of model-specific designs for the new 2006 F-150 Super Crew Pickup with 6 1/2 foot box. The new truck covers provide all-around protection while maintaining the utility of the truck bed. The units feature XT-Dial Direct Tension Adjusters, angled side-rails, and an over-centering rear latch-bar. Access, Lorado and Literider Roll-up models are available.
