Driv launches new platform to boost shop efficiency

Driv has introduced Installer’s Advantage, a new platform developed to address common challenges technicians face in the service bay.

Built from direct feedback gathered from repair shops, the program highlights product design enhancements that simplify installation, reduce labour time, and help prevent repeat repairs.

Installer’s Advantage is applied at the application level and spans more than 5,000 SKUs across the DRiV portfolio. Each designated product is engineered to solve specific issues encountered by technicians, including reducing unnecessary steps during installation, addressing known OE design weaknesses, and improving durability for longer service life. The platform also focuses on resolving common customer complaints that can lead to comebacks, helping shops improve efficiency and service quality.

“Installer’s Advantage is a strong example of how Driv grounds its engineering and design decisions in real‑world shop insight,” said Joseph Saoud, vice‑president and general manager for the U.S. and Canada at Driv. “This program creates a consistent way to communicate that commitment while reinforcing the value installers experience every day.”
