Combating Counterfeiting at AAPEX: AASA Council Presents Free Webinar

The AASA Brand Protection Council is offering a free webinar from 2-3 p.m. EDT on Monday, Oct. 17, “Identifying and Taking Action Against Counterfeiting and Other IPR Violations at AAPEX.”
The event is designed to assist exhibitors in arming themselves against counterfeiters at the show. Marc Fleischaker, a partner with Arent Fox and one of AAPEX’s attorneys, will lead the discussion.
Participants will learn:
–How to prepare before the show
–What constitutes a violation
–What to look for at another exhibit
–What to bring to the show (e.g. patents, copyright registrations, etc.)
–Tips on how to approach possible violators
–How and when to get show management involved
–Actions taken by show management
–Consequences to IPR violators
