Collision Technical Management and Training Sessions Now Combined In Ontario

 

For the first time, shop owners and techs can both access ongoing training and certification programs with most eligible for a 2/3 rebate on course fees.

Collision Industry Information Assistance (CIIA) and aftermarket supplier icoat [Innovative Coatings] have jointly announced that, starting this spring, shops can take the Basic Estimating course, the Certificate of Qualification exam prep course (to help unlicensed techs pass the trade exam), as well as the Positive Approach in the 21st Century and Production Management courses and other training.

CIIA member shops continue to receive a discount on training and those attending icoat courses receive a $200 product voucher good for products from any icoat warehouse in Ontario.

The Basic Estimating course is eligible for four I-CAR Canada points.

Upcoming courses include:

  • Friday Feb. 12 and Saturday Feb. 13 – all day Basic Estimating at 1163 Pettit Road, Burlington  L7P 2K3 (2 Day Course)

Costs for this course $750 for non-members, $550 for members

  • Tuesday Feb. 16 and Thursday Feb. 18 – Nine night Certificate of Qualification tradespersons exam prep course at 1163 Pettit Road, Burlington  L7P 2K3

Costs for this course $1000 for non-members, $800 for members
