Walker web catalog now includes interactive vehicle systems diagrams

The electronic catalog available at the Walker Emissions Control brand’s website now includes interactive diagrams of exhaust systems.

This new feature enables users to access part-specific gallery pages featuring images, specifications, training videos and other valuable information.

The application-specific system diagrams are available after the user has begun a part lookup by entering year/make/model, VIN, license plate number or part number. This new feature also is available via the Walker mobile app for Android devices, iPhones and iPads.

Walker says the feature is designed to help automotive parts professionals, service writers, technicians and other users more easily identify the right catalytic converter, muffler, resonator, pipe and other emissions control products for virtually any popular North American, European, or Asian passenger vehicle. The user can click on any of the live links within each system diagram to access a part-specific rich-media gallery containing detailed information such as product specifications, installation instructions, technical tips, training videos and images.

“Our continuing investment in innovative research tools has helped Tenneco and the Walker brand connect with more customers, earlier in the repair process,” said Denise Hanefeld, marketing manager, North America Aftermarket, Tenneco. “By supporting these professionals and consumers with world-class eCatalog tools and technical support, we are helping to ensure that Walker will be their number-one choice for emissions control repairs.”
