California has set a November 20th deadline for Volkswagen to come up with a plan to fix their diesel models with rigged emissions tests.
A spokesman from the California Air Resources Board said this deadline comes 45 business days after Volkswagen received an in-use compliance letter.
Approximately 11 million diesel vehicles across the world will need to be refitted, reported Automotive News.
It is said that California regulators will also continue to carry out tests on diesel cars from other manufacturers.
