Author and journalist Chris Brogan will headline the opening general session at Automotive Service Repair Week 2011 in Orlando, FL.
Brogan will speak about social media as a tool for small businesses, to generate sales, leads, and marketing strategies.
Brogan, who is also a marketing consultant and frequent speaker about social media marketing, educates businesses and organizations on how social software aligns with their strategies. He’s the president and CEO of Human Business Works, an education and community company.
"Technology and the advent of social media in particular have changed the way we all do business, so we feel Chris Brogan is not only a timely choice for this year’s keynote presentation, but an extremely relevant one," said Harry Hall, DuPont North America Sales Manager – Refinish.
Automotive Service Association (ASA) president Ron Pyle said attendees can expect an entertaining and engaging presentation and also to walk away with ideas and solutions they can easily implement as soon as they get home."
Tickets for the opening general session are included in the purchase of a Super Pass or may be purchased online for $25 before the early-bird deadline of Aug. 9; $35 after.
ASRW includes the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS). It is scheduled for Oct. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
