Snap-on tools featured in Atlantis display at Kennedy Space Centre

With the decommissioning of the Space Shuttle fleet, NASA has recently opened a new display showcasing the Space Shuttle Atlantis with the Canadarm.

The new Atlantis display, located inside the Kennedy Space Centre also includes a display of Snap-on tools used on the shuttle flights and at the International Space Station. The display includes a Snap-on QC1R200 1/4" Torque Wrench, which was used on shuttle missions in 2002 and 2006.

The exhibit also shows Canadian astronaut Robert Thirsk on the International Space Station with  Snap-on 3/8” and 1/2" drive torque wrenches and an OEX42B 1 5/16” combination wrench.
