Tenneco has expanded its line of Monroe Total Solution replacement ceramic and semi-metallic brake pads to include coverage of more than 5.5 million additional late-model foreign nameplate and domestic passenger vehicles. The company also has increased the availability of in-package premium stainless steel hardware kits for nearly every application that requires installation hardware.

Monroe Total Solution brake pads come complete with everything needed for a superior brake repair, including ultra-premium friction formulations and shim technology, noise reduction hardware, Sensory Locking Plate backing plates, and wire wear sensors, where applicable. Each pad set also includes brake lubricant to help technicians save time while performing a complete, premium-quality repair.

The Monroe Total Solution product line now includes 1,144 part numbers, offering coverage of more than 96 percent of passenger cars, vans, sport utility vehicles, and light- and medium-duty trucks.

“The Total Solution line provides the ultra-premium technologies, formulations, in-package hardware kits and electric wire wear sensors that many professional technicians prefer to help ensure the best possible brake system performance,” said Tom Connelly, Monroe Brakes national marketing and sales manager. “Each pad is designed and manufactured in North America to provide the quality and confidence Monroe customers expect.”
