Magnum Gaskets expands production capability

Magnum Gaskets, which recently launched a line of aftermarket gaskets, is doubling its design, manufacturing, and packaging space by relocating to a new facility in Pinellas Park, Florida. For almost 20 years, Magnum’s parent company, Modern Silicone Technologies Inc. (MSI), has been manufacturing valve cover, oil pan and manifold gaskets for major aftermarket brands and OE service at a plant in Clearwater, Florida.

“We needed a facility that could keep up with our design advances and expanded product line,” said Alex Grunfeld, vice president at Magnum Automotive Group. “With 125,000 square feet under one roof, we’re better prepared to deliver the cutting edge technology and world-class quality for today’s aftermarket. Being on a large parcel of open land, there is room to grow beyond that, if needed.” Hundreds of guests are expected to attend a Magnum Open House at the new plant later in 2012.
