iATN launches online job search and recruitment service

iATN has launched Auto Pro Careers, an employment discovery service for the automotive industry, designed to help members of iATN find or advertise a new job.

iATN Auto Pro Careers enables all members to create a career profile, search for new and nearby jobs, and receive notifications when new jobs are posted.

Employers on iATN now have the opportunity to easily post open positions, search for qualified candidates, and receive notifications when relevant candidates create a profile.

For job seekers, profiles are free. It’s free for all members to post profiles, search jobs, and contact employers. When you create your profile, you can specify whether you’re actively or passively looking for a new job, and you can choose to receive notifications when nearby jobs are posted.

For employers, job postings range from $0 to $50. It’s free for all Business and Business+ premium members to post a job, as long as the job address and company is the same as your iATN account. For everyone else, the cost is only $50 for each 30-day job posting.

Though job and profile creation is limited to members, all jobs and profiles posted to iATN Auto Pro Careers are publicly visible, and publicly searchable. iATN’s goal is for this service to be the first stop for hiring in the automotive industry.

iATN will limit some of the information from being displayed publicly, such as name and contact information. This guarantees that those who contact you about your profile (or job) are serious candidates and true professionals.

In order to contact an employer, you must have created a profile on the service, and in order to contact a job seeker, you must have posted a job. These guidelines mean that when someone contacts you, you will be able to read about their professional career, or see the details of the job being offered, before deciding whether to continue the conversation.

Unlike services that encourage sharing of traditional resumes (which vary widely in format and usefulness), profiles posted on our service are specific to the auto industry, and uniformly formatted for easier reading.

Over the coming weeks and months, iATN be integrating this service within its existing services.
