Hankook launches winter tire rebate program

Hankook Tire Canada is offering an “Icebreaker” rebate program to Canadian consumers for 2014.

The limited-time manufacturer’s 2014 winter “Icebreaker” rebate program is offered to general consumers on select Hankook models and is available to all Canadian residents. All current Hankook winter tire products are offered in this year’s rebate program including the popular winter i*cept evo, winter i*cept iZ, winter i*Pike RS and winter i*Pike RW11.

To ensure eligibility, consumers must purchase a new set of four (4) Hankook winter tires from participating Canadian retailers between October 15- December 15, 2014. Select tread patterns and specific reimbursements are listed below:

“We are excited to launch our third Winter Rebate program in Canada,” said Sean Yang, president of Hankook Tire Canada Corp. “The previous rebate programs have been a success, and this year we are excited to extend the offer to include four of our high-quality, performance winter tires. We’ve also increased the maximum rebate to $70 which is the highest in the history of this program as a way to say thank you to our loyal customers.”

Consumers are required to complete the appropriate claim form and submit it along with the original proof of retail purchase on, or before, a postmarked date (or equivalent) of no later than 11:59:59 P.M., January 15, 2015. As per the rebate program rules and regulations, acceptable proof of purchase formats include: original invoices, purchase receipts, or equivalent bill of sales. Online purchases are not applicable for reimbursement.

Eligible consumers will receive a rebate in the form of a cheque within eight (8) to ten (10) weeks from the claim documents receipt date if all qualifications are confirmed and conditions are met.

Hankook Tire is expected to support the promotion with a fully-integrated marketing communications program, including but not limited to advertising, public relations, social media, in-store displays and a special retailer incentive.
