Kevin and Stacey Gustafsons shop wins "Business Evaluation Support and Training" award during two-day focus group meeting in Calgary.
Gustafson’s Auto Clinic of Athabasca, Alberta has won APD’s 2011 “Best of the APD B.E.S.T.” award.
The "Business Evaluation Support and Training" award, presented on May 29 during a two-day focus group meeting in Calgary, Alta., is presented to the shop that saw the greatest business improvement over the past year, compared to other shops enrolled in APD’s B.E.S.T. program.
“Kevin and Stacey’s accomplishment is amplified when you realize this is the second year in a row of achieving this award,” said Zara Wishloff, VP sales and marketing at APD. “There is detailed criteria, based on many measurable aspects of business improvement. The competition is incredible, with many high-caliber shops from Alberta and Saskatchewan engaged in this program. It is inspiring to watch these entrepreneurs take their businesses to the next level.”
The B.E.S.T. concept was designed by Bob Greenwood, president and CEO of Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre Ltd. It is considered by some to be the most complete business development concept in North America today, providing written guarantees of business success to clients that are accepted into the group.
